Pete & Amy McMillin
Pete and Amy McMillin have over ten years’ experience working in youth ministry in local churches.
Pete grew up in a Christian home in Indiana with an older brother and a younger sister. Along with his family, he was very involved in the ministries of the church that he grew up in. He asked the Lord to save him at a young age. After graduating from high school, Pete attended Pensacola Christian College before serving in the United States Marine Corps. It was there that he learned how little he knew about why he lived the way that he did. He developed a burden to train young people to know why they believe what they believe. He married Amy in December 2002 and served a combat tour in Iraq in 2003.
Amy grew up in a Christian home in the Williamsport, MD area as the youngest of three girls. She was active in her church’s music ministry, youth group and was a camp counselor for several years before earning her Bachelors degree in Nursing from Bob Jones University. She made a profession of faith at a very young age but received assurance of salvation as an adult.
Pete and Amy have four energetic boys, Michael (2004), Chad (2007), Joshua (2009), and Mason (2014), and one beautiful daughter, Brooke (2019), that they are striving to train to love God and serve Him with all their hearts all the days of their lives. Currently, Pete is employed at Somerford Senior Living Community. In addition, he is currently the Chairman of the Deacons at Lighthouse. Amy is a domestic engineer along with actively serving in the music ministry of Lighthouse.
